Art: Face Your Demon

Tittle:Face your demon
Artist:Dare Olamide (Opscysart)
Size:20*24
Mediums: Graphites and charcoal on needle point paper

Research has proven that when a lion charges towards a person, the chances of it backing down depends on whether or no the person shows any display of fear.

The David we all know faced Goliath with a sense of inner strength he believed was not 'His' but God's. In battle his belief became his strength.

We are to resist the devil before he will flee from us. We are not to flee from him an expect him to run the opposite direction. Resist, fightback....... When the going gets tough, you get tougher and get going. Believe in your inner strength, silence your insecurities and hey!! Stop running, turnaround and FACE THAT DEMON.

HOW TO BE UNSUCCESSFUL

1. Put half efforts into everything you do. Just get satisfied with doing things with little efforts when in truth you can put in even more. Do not do much. Just do the little you can. Do this "with all your heart and might." You really do not need to do much to be unsuccessful. Just do the little things with little effort.

HOW TO START YOUR BUSINESS

Do not be naive to think that starting up a business is easy. Entrepreneurship is a journey that requires a lot of time, effort and hard work, and perhaps unsurprisingly, many people end up failing. But if your company survives, the rewards of entrepreneurship are well worth the obstacles you'll face on the road to success.
If you think you're ready to start your first business, here's a step-by-step overview of what you need to do to make it happen.

NEW SONG: OPTION by AUSTIN OPENE, YAHWEH CROONER

Hello friend, yes you!

Austin is giving us something to remind us of the place God intends to take in our hearts. Here is a gift from him to you saying "BABA YOU BE MY ONLY OPTION.

Hey guys!
I trust you all have been enjoying your Sunday.
I will be putting up a song of mine on andreyytee.blogspot.com soon. It is my little gift to you.
God is the only option we all have.
Some of us get distracted by traditions of men and ideologies that try to raise their ugly head above the knowledge of God in our lives and because of these we begin to second guess the efficacy of His word. But in this song I want to let you know how important it is for us to see God as our only option!

Enjoy and be blessed!

Part 2 - WHAT SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE DO TO SUCCEED

4. EVOLVE

One thing people are scared of, is change. Change is inevitable. The fear that comes as a result of change is an illusion - it doesn't exist. Change doesn't harm those that are open minded about it. It only hurts those that are scared to indulge it. Those in their comfort zone never become successful at what they do. They repeat patterns and often become complacent and depressed from having a certain kind of result. But one should not repeat a pattern of doing things and expect a uniquely different result. 1 + 1 is always 2. You do not expect do have a different answer from that sum.
What does it mean to evolve?

1. Rich people think and act differently than the rest of us. They aren't born with this "rich mentality" — they learn how and then choose to think and act this way.
It's a concept that has been in print for nearly a century — thanks to a journalist's research of more than 500 self-made millionaires in the early 20th century — and continues to gain relevance today.
In T. Harv Eker's bestselling book, "Secrets of the Millionaire Mind," the self-made millionaire identifies specific choices the wealthiest people make on a daily basis that most of us fail to emulate.
Here are 11 of them, with commentary from Eker's bestseller:

2. Rich people choose to be in control of their success.

"Rich people believe, 'I create my life,'" "while average people think, 'Life happens to me.'" writes Eker,
You have to be in control of your financial life, he opines: "You have to believe that you are the one who creates your success, that you are the one who creates your mediocrity, and that you are the one creating your struggles around money and success. Consciously or unconsciously, it's still you."

Empire: Vivica A. Fox to appear as Cookie's sister

The world of Empire has been getting all the attention here in Nigeria and I know you know what I am talking about. I was first told about movie by a friend but didn't take it seriously until someone else told me about the movie. I stayed up one Saturday night to finish the movie. It was a good one although I have issues with the way homosexuality is painted in it.

I just learnt that Kill Bill star Vivica A. Fox will be appearing on season 2 of the Fox hit as the oldest sister of Cookie (Taraji P. Henson). Fox’s character comes to Empire in search of her younger sis for reasons unknown.

Sam Smith has been confirmed to sing the theme tune for upcoming James Bond movie Spectre.

Sam Smith described the prestigious job as "one of the highlights" of his career. "I am honoured to finally announce that I will be singing the next Bond theme song," he said.

The multi-platinum selling singer has co-written "Writing's On the Wall" with fellow Grammy winner Jimmy Napes. It is the first James Bond theme recorded by a British male solo artist since Tom Jones did "Thunderball" in 1965.

"I am so excited to be a part of this iconic British legacy and join an incredible line-up of some of my biggest musical inspirations. I hope you all enjoy the song as much as I enjoyed making it."

Spectre producers, Barbara Broccoli and Michael G Wilson, called Smith's song "inspirational" and "surely one of the greatest Bond songs of all time".

Dada
As fondly called, that hommie Exceed is out with his debut single, an upbeat rhythm laced with the Yoruba dialect titled “Dada”.

Produced by Teekaywitty, “Dada” is that song for both happy and trying times. It talks of the faithfulness of the Lord and the need to ‘dance out the wait’. The word of the Lord said ‘those who wait upon the Lord will not make haste’, “Dada” is Exceed’s way of encouraging the one who is waiting.

My Story about those guys you dread!!! #DiaryOfTheHostage feat. NoWhere Girl by @BlessingTangban

ZUBA

Zuba! Zuba!! Zuba!!! Oga you no dey go?

A man alighted a cab at the junction where I stood waiting for a cab and as I looked into the car, I saw the three unfriendly faces – they reminded me of the kind of faces we saw way back when we begged to be dropped at Dutse junction after we had scaled fences to return home without due permission from the school authority – this is a familiar story of students of GSS Kuduru, as it is called.

I was already late for work that day, and to make those faces the reason not to board the cab, I didn’t consider. I greeted them with a pretentious smile and as expected, they whispered something that sounded more of a treat than a greeting – affirming my dread for their faces. No one spoke a word while we journeyed. Not too long, another passenger, a broad shouldered man, with beard that almost made him look like one of those people, he wore a cap that half-covered his head, ‘attire’ that revealed no skin and shoes that announced his belief in every piece that was revealed.

7tips to end the #SNORING #HABIT - Thank me later

Snoring!

It gets really rough trying to sleep in a house where you are the one preventing others from having a good night rest. Stuffs like the noise you make that any rap artist can compose a song with, hunts you for a long time, maybe your entire life.
