Dada
As fondly called, that hommie Exceed is out with his debut single, an upbeat rhythm laced with the Yoruba dialect titled “Dada”.

Produced by Teekaywitty, “Dada” is that song for both happy and trying times. It talks of the faithfulness of the Lord and the need to ‘dance out the wait’. The word of the Lord said ‘those who wait upon the Lord will not make haste’, “Dada” is Exceed’s way of encouraging the one who is waiting.

Buffer: Why we share - A guide to more shareable content

psychology of facebook
Why we like, share comment and keep coming back

I was on twitter this morning after a nice breakfast of yam and garden egg sauce and I stumbled on something that got my breakfast cold before I was done reading. It is quite interesting to find stuffs like this because it enlightens you and broadens your scope when posting on your social pages and blogs.

Excerpt:

The New York Times did an awesome study on why we share a few years ago that remains one of the most informative on the topic of social media sharing. This study identified five major drivers for sharing:
  • To bring valuable and entertaining content to one another. 49% of respondents say sharing allows them to inform others of products they care about and potentially change opinions or encourage action.
  • To define ourselves to others.  68% of respondents said they share to give others a better sense of who they are and what they care about.
  • To grow and nourish our relationships. 78% of respondents said they share information online because it enables them to stay connected to people they may not otherwise stay in touch with

FACEBOOK SCAMMERS - #BeWareOfFacebookScammers !!!

A lot of my friends have fallen victims of the so called yahoo and scammers online and I know that you have, or maybe a friend of yours. I, personally have had series of experience on this note. Mine was with series of guys, I would say, who pretended to be ladies. I don't know why I didn't fall for their well-painted benefits but I believe it all balls down to my prior knowledge of these scammers. The prior knowledge, amongst other things, helped me off their list of victims.
I remember receiving a mail from one of these persons on facebook. It reads

"My name is ... I am from...my father died in the...and left me an inheritance which...I am presently in a refugee camp where I am being fed and clothed by ...."

FLASH5: RESOLUTION. DAY 4.

*
*Lights come on to Soobaba's entrance music. The lights flicker as we hear the sound of an engine whirring. An army jeep pulls up the ramp. The driver's door opens and Soogun steps out and slams the door. The crowd pops. He's Wearing combat fatigues and a bullet-proof, he does the Black Power fist and strides towards the arena. Today, the arena is ringed with burning torches.*
Announcer's Voice: Day 4, ring of FIRE!
*The light goes out. There is silence then we hear an eerie laughter. The light flashes for two seconds and there is a bowed figure at the entrance wearing a robe and with a staff. Then it is dark and silent again.

FLASH5: RESOLUTION. DAY 2.

*
*Lights come on to Soogun's entrance music. Appearing on the ramp. He strides down to chants of 'Soobaba!' He enters the arena, poses for the crowd with his hands in the air, doing a Black Power.
.
"Here Comes the Boom" starts blaring as the lights revolve, flashing multiple colours. The music stops, lights go out and the screen shows four hooded man standing behind a black-and-yellow danfo bus, bearing arms. They are standing in a red puddle and glimpses of falling feet could be seen.

POETRY SLAM: FLASH5 - RESOLUTION.

I have been following this battle on facebook and it is really something you should look out for. It is starting soon.
Sunday, July 19-Friday, July 24.
.
UPDATES.
.
Posting Time: 10am.
.
Vote Count Scheme:
.
10 audience votes= 3 points
20 audience votes= 6 points
30 audience votes= 9 points
.
You get the idea? 10 equals 3.
.
However, 17, 18, 19 audience votes = 5 points. Why? Because 2 extra points will be added to the 3 if the numbers of votes are approaching the next point starter(from 7 )
.
1 judge vote=10 points.
.
So, for the benefit of these who are always getting shortchanged at the market:
.
A- 60 audience votes + 1 judge votes = 28 points
.
B- 57 audience votes + 2 judge votes= 37 points.
.
B wins.
.
