SNL Releases Star Wars Audition Tapes

Continuing the trend of "everything has to do with Star Wars until The Force Awakens comes out," Saturday Night Live did a sketch this past weekend where various actors audition for the new film. It's as mildly humorous as SNL sketches are often expected to be, but some of the cameos are enjoyable and several of the impressions are spot on. And, at the end of the day, it's another thing to tide you over in the final weeks of anticipation, so give it a watch and see if YOU would have wanted to see any of these fine people in the actual film.

FACEBOOK SCAMMERS - #BeWareOfFacebookScammers !!!

A lot of my friends have fallen victims of the so called yahoo and scammers online and I know that you have, or maybe a friend of yours. I, personally have had series of experience on this note. Mine was with series of guys, I would say, who pretended to be ladies. I don't know why I didn't fall for their well-painted benefits but I believe it all balls down to my prior knowledge of these scammers. The prior knowledge, amongst other things, helped me off their list of victims.
I remember receiving a mail from one of these persons on facebook. It reads

"My name is ... I am from...my father died in the...and left me an inheritance which...I am presently in a refugee camp where I am being fed and clothed by ...."

31 DAYS OF POETRY- DAY 24- DEATH IS... - by Chika Jones

Does death come in seasons?
Like the broken needles,
On the tongues of winded dragons?
Like the red of flowers in harmattan,
Or does it come through the hole of scarabs,
When brave young girls venture alone into the forests,
And emerge with painted hands,
I remember the lives of dead ones,
Like a kaleidoscope of ever changing sounds,
The baby's first cry,
The ratata of gunfire,
The thud of falling earth,
Ha!

20 Things Only Highly Creative People Would Understand

I enjoyed this, and I believe you would too...
creative people
Creativity

There’s no argument anymore. Neuroscience confirms that highly creative people think and act differently than the average person. Their brains are literally hardwired in a unique way. But that gift can often strain relationships. I’ve seen it firsthand while working with New York Times bestselling authors and Grammy-winning musicians.
If you love a highly creative person, you probably experience moments when it seems like they live in a completely different world than you. Truth is, they do. But trying to change them isn’t nearly as effective as trying to understand them.
It all begins by seeing the world through their lens and remembering these 20 things:

1. They have a mind that never slows down.

The creative mind is a non-stop machine fueled by intense curiosity. There is no pause button and no way to power it down. This can be exhausting at times but it is also the source of some crazy fun activities and conversations. Read on

33 Powerful Ways of Overcoming Fear … Right Now by Fajuyi Tolulope

https://www.paulproject.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/overcoming-fear.jpg

When I read this, I think about our imagination and our fears. Almost all of us are suffering without a cause. The fear of fear is worse than fear itself. You’ve probably heard it many times, but that’s because it’s true. Overcome your fears now!
Overcoming fear is a skill that anyone can learn.
The problem is that most people cling to their fears, because it’s part of who they are.
If you aren’t ready to start overcoming fear, you probably won’t.
And there’s nothing wrong in that. Everything happens in its own time.
If you’re reading this, I’m pretty sure that you’re ready to take another step forward.
You searched for this information, or you bumped into it, which isn’t just a coincidence.

31 DAYS OF POETRY- DAY 18- IBADAN DOTI- by Ijalusi Samuel

Ibadan

With vast vallies and hills
Upright to ward off ancient attacks
Citadel of pacesetter.

Her streets rallies of rags and pills
Littered grounds, stinking bin tanks
Dirt guilty even scholars.
