Embittered - Ademola Adekola

Oh No !!!

Brothers and Sisters, have you not now seen how we awake to the call of pain brewed by conspiracies and propagandas?

Have you not now seen how the dawning of a new day brings us conspiracies propagated by the elites united only by class and interest in a country almost far beyond redemption; a country of rehearsed political saga and melo-drama?

President Buhari Signs Not-Too-Young-To-Run Bill into Law

You and I know that there is no excuse not to get registered and pursue your political goals.
President Muhammadu Buhari has signed the Not-Too-Young-To-Run Bill into law.

The Bill was signed into law at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa, Abuja, barely two days after President Buhari had promised to do so.
This promise was made by the president in his Democracy Day speech on Tuesday.

The law reduces the age qualification for president from 40 to 30; governor from 35 to 30; senator from 35 to 30; House of Representatives membership from 30 to 25 and State House of Assembly membership from 30 to 25.

Hey guys, knot your ties and wear you hats, dust your voters card. It is time to vote some oldies out of office.

5 Simple Headwrap tutorials for Bad hair days

Hello,

I have recently become a pinner and for those of you under the rock thats for people that use Pinterest and Its really helpful to say the least. Anyways, I have been wearing my hair out alot and my go-to styles are the twist outs and the pineapple bun, but there are days I am just so very lazy to do anything to my hair, scarfs are not my ''save the day option" because I don't know how to tie them.

I had the pictures saved on my phone but just last night my memory card wiped off and Pintrest came to the rescue.

Now, some of these are not work appropriate but you know how to tie it when the need arises and weekends :) Too much talk, lets dance.

I'm still trying to figure out how she did the bow, Probably just pinned it down? Click on the pictures to enlarge.

Is Natural Hair For Everybody? - Berry Dakara

Berry Dakara, owner of http://berrydakara.blogspot.com/ writes on ''Natural Hair.''
Dakara

I'm a firm believer in the notion that not every one is "supposed" to have natural hair. Yes, God created black/African hair to be kinky, so some people use that point as their excuse to push for natural hair on everyone's head. However, I think that we all have our freedom to choose and if someone feels that they simply cannot manage their natural hair, who am I to judge?

In the latest Mane Matters interview, the lady was the first one ever to admit that natural hair is just a phase for her. While it might be shocking to see that statement on a natural hair blog/website, it's a reality for so many women. I personally have friends who have gone natural, and most of what they say about natural hair tends towards the negative - hard to manage, hair styles that they don't like, etc. That's simply their experience. In my opinion, if anything (natural hair included) causes you to complain more than celebrate, why keep doing it?

I stopped relaxing my hair in 2006, and even though the thought of straight hair has crossed my mind a few times in these past 9 years, I don't see myself using a relaxer on my head in the foreseeable future. But that's MY experience.

What do you think? Is Natural hair for everybody? If yes, why? If no, why not?

Buhari Is Already Confused – Etcetera

balloon
Mr. President

Controversial writer Etcetera, in his new article criticizes the new President of Nigeria Muhammed Buhari  saying, he is already overwhelmed and confused like what we’ve had in the past.
Read his Article below…..

If there is any group of individuals who can manufacture shock, political punditry out of nothing, it is the All Progressives Congress. They cried out that Jonathan was doing a terrible job as President of Nigeria. They said his inability to run the Federal Government is the reason our country has lapsed into wholesale chaos.
He is the reason corruption decimated our population, turned brother against brother. He is the reason our military became weak and our borders constantly breached by Niger, Chad and Cameroonian gendarmes. He is the reason our cities have all lost power and we have reclined back into the dark ages. He is the reason why thousands of wild dogs/Boko Haram roam our streets and rip our children apart. With democracy being an institution where we worry about how many people ‘agree’ about certain things, APC must be concerned that Nigerians are actually seeing that Buhari is not the messiah we need.
When I wrote that Nigerians shouldn’t celebrate Buhari yet, a lot of his sympathizers reached for my scalp with all types of derogatory vocabularies. Now, just a couple of days into his regime and even before the flag is hoisted up the pole, the same people have started singing the same old song that he is too slow. Just like in the time of Jonathan. Why am I not surprised? When I talked about Buhari’s age, they said presiding over the affairs of a country is different from being a bricklayer. Why is Buhari now wishing he was younger? What has “changed” him? Didn’t he know his age before “borrowing” money to acquire the form to contest for president?
Listening to APC and President Buhari’s excuses of just being in government for only few weeks is like watching a doctor on ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ pounding on a patient’s chest until another doctor has to pull him off and say, ‘Sir it’s over!’ That’s what I want to say to President Buhari. Sir, it’s over! We are tired of having president with excuses. You didn’t give us these excuses in any of your campaign speeches. Nigerians, it’s time to move on! There will be other disasters. There will always be presidents with excuses.
