So with today (September 14) being the birthday of one of the biggest comedians in Nigeria, Basketmouth, I want to say a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY and THANK YOU to him for being who he is. He is an inspiration to so many comedians and youth out there.
The 37 years old has represented his country well in so many places. The Mayor of the city of Houston ‘Annice D. Parker, declared the 17th of July, 2015 as Basketmouth Day in Houston, Texas in recognition of Basketmouth’s contribution in integrating the Nigerian American community through his art for the past 6 years in Houston.

According to several comedians, BasketMouth has influenced the stand up comedy industry in terms of branding and marketing. I do believe he takes the place of a mentor to some of these upcoming comedians
