Diamond League: Justin Gatlin beats Asafa Powell and Tyson Gay

Justin Gatlin
American Justin Gatlin ran the joint second-fastest time of 2015 to beat Asafa Powell and Tyson Gay in the men's 100m at the Diamond League in Lausanne.
The 33-year-old, who has served two doping bans, ran in 9.79 seconds ahead of next month's world championships.
Powell and Gay both ran 9.92 seconds, while Usain Bolt was out injured, although the Olympic champion plans to defend his world title in Beijing.
Gatlin's countryman Gay and Jamaican Powell have also failed drug tests.
Gay, 32, served a one-year ban after testing positive for a banned anabolic steroid in 2013, while Powell, 32, served a six-month ban after testing positive for a banned stimulant in 2013.
Gatlin, who set the best 100m time of the year with 9.74 seconds in May, had an eight-year suspension halved to four years after testing positive for testosterone in 2006, five years after first failing a drugs test in 2001.
"I love this track," he said. "Last year I ran 9.79 seconds, and this year there was more competition.
"It's always good to face the best - it's like a heavyweight boxing match. That's what I want to do."

Serena Williams vs Venus Williams, Wimbledon 2015: [SEE]

Serena continues her quest to win all four Grand Slams in 2015 - beating Venus 6-4, 6-3 in the fourth round at Wimbledon

68 minutes after they started, here's Serena, talking to the BBC after her straight-sets win:
It's never easy to play someone you love and care about, but you play for the competition and enjoy the moment. I served well today - I didn't hit huge serves - I was really consistent, so in the end I was able to come through. It doesn't get easier [on Centre Court].
According to www.telegraph.co.uk

Serena makes the first HawkEye challenge - I was wondering if there was some sort of sisterly code going on - and wins it, capitalising on the second serve to go 0-15 up. Venus loses out in a high-tempo baseline war of attrition, and then serves another untimely double-fault. Break point and match point Serena x 3. She only needs one of them to finish this off and proceed to the fifth round of Wimbledon!
