"Love is an excuse to go on with life."

When you love with reckless abandone, you sometimes forget that time is slowly passing away. You sometimes feel there is no much time to do all the things you dreamt as a child. So you soon begin to try out all that you were told by your adult friends.

If you have suffered a heart break before, then you know what this lady meant by "love is an excuse to go on with life."


Love is some complicated thing to understand, isn't it?

Today you are hurt by the same person you swore was sent from heaven. And then you begin to doubt their existence and even yours in the process.

When you get out of the relationship, it is like fate is playing games with your life. You soon want to take your life, or try out a few hobbies before you do so.

So you take dancing classes, or go swimming... Sometimes as you paddle through, you get some amazing ideas on how to put an end to your life. It makes sense. You begin to have ideas that maybe this was how fate wanted you to end. And then as you begin to drown in the water, fate sends your way a well-built life-saver of a man, and he comes resuscitating you back to life with something you could have sworn to be a kiss, if not that he was a paramedic.

"And then when you thought nothing good was going to happen to you..."

Life can get funny.

The same person whom you thought had given up on love, is the same person recalling the incident of a near-death experience with so much excitement in their voice. And again, you see love in their once pale eyes.

And in a fleeting moment, they become tired of loving another soul and then choose to love themselves. That's when you see WhatsApp Status like "You gotta love yourself. You cannot give what you do not have." Another shade of love. Another excuse to go on living.

"Love is beautifully adorn. And it comes when we least expect."
