I was talking to a relative lately, who told me, "I don't understand you, because I..." and that right there, is the reason why people in this world can't understand other people. It's the "because I" part that causes the "I don't understand you" part. If you are going to approach other people from the perspective of yourself, then you are never going to understand them, and that is an inability that is on you, it's not a disability on the part of the other person.
