ASUU Strike how far?

According to Vanguardngr.com, the Federal Government and the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, will again meet today in a bid to resolve the ongoing strike embarked upon by the university teachers two weeks ago.

With all the promises from both bodies we do hope to hear something substantial today after the meeting scheduled to hold by noon.

According to the Minister in a statement signed by Samuel Olowookere, Deputy Director, Press in the Ministry of Labour and Employment, yesterday, ASUU had promised to resolve issues with members of the body after which they would meet with the federal government within a week.

Hopefully, this meeting which would hold today, will be fruitful.
