This year's event was a successful one. It focused on
providing Educational & Humanitarian Charity for The School of the
Handicapped, Kuje. Some of its students as well as the administrators were present at the event.The event was held at The Haven Maitama, Abuja, Federal Capital Territory, Nigeria on Sunday, 06th December 2015.
The focus of The Christmas Barbeque Concert is to create awareness about opportunities to lift the downtrodden, despised and dejected in society using a cocktail of sounds, rhythms, poetry, meats, drinks and networking thereby offering you a platform for listening, meeting, eating, drinking, giving, giving & giving.
During the event a call went out to those who thought it wise and kind to help the less privileged. A number of guests at the event subscribed to see that the kids were well taken care of. However, the organizers say they are open to suggestions and contributions as well as donations and partnership to the end that the kids would receive adequate care.
This year's event showcased the best of traditional and contemporary
artistry which included highly acclaimed performers like: Da’
T.R.U.T.H. (USA), Isaac Simpson (USA) Jazzsari (Nigeria), Eketi Ette (Nigeria), Amaray
(Nigeria), Israel Funsho (Nigeria), Asuza (Nigeria) amongst others.
