Incidences of examination malpractice are not limited to schools alone as is widely believed, says the President, Exam Ethics Marshal International Movement, FCT Chapter, Saliu Yahaya.
Speaking on the theme: “Examination Malpractice: A Thorn in Education Flesh” at the ‘Speech and Prize-Giving Day’ of Junior Secondary School, Area 11, Garki, Abuja, Yahaya explained that examination malpractice occurs in any environment where people write examinations.

“People assume that it is only in schools that exam malpractice occurs, but it happens everywhere," he said.
"Even in the civil service, ministries, medical schools, people perpetrate exam malpractice.”
He noted also that parents are actively involved, citing the example of parents pay others to write exams for their wards or try to have them promoted to higher classes arbitrarily.
