A World At School

If 95% of schools at home suddenly closed, would it be considered a crisis? I think you'd agree reopening the schools is urgent, right?

On Tuesday the world can recognise this at #EduSummitOslo - by making a promise to millions of children that they will have a safe place to learn.

We'll be there - but the next 48 hours are crucial. Will you help us take over 7 million #UpForSchool signatures with us? Sign now if you haven't already at www.upforschool.org.

And if you have, share this post on your wall with the message that we can't let this opportunity slip by: the opportunity to make a difference for the 28 million children who currently left without an education in conflict and disaster affected areas, often for many years.

Currently only 1% of humanitarian aid goes to their education - but together we can make sure world leaders give their backing to a new fund and platform for education in emergencies, and provide an education to the children who need it most!
